Beverley Callard is a grandmother again

Beverley Callard has become a grandmother again.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who has daughter Rebecca, 43, and son Joshua, 29, from previous relationships – is delighted to be a granny again after her husband Jon McEwan’s daughter Danielle gave birth to a "beautiful" baby boy in the early hours of Thursday morning (14.09.18).
She wrote on Twitter: "Ooh became a Grandma again. Beautiful little boy born at 2.22 am. 7lb 15oz. Gorgeous boy! Name coming later. Well done Danielle xxxx (sic)"
Beverley went on to share a picture of her new grandson, and is planning to meet him on Monday (17.09.18) to give him a hug.
She wrote: "First Pic! Our new baby Grandson, 13 hours old now, can’t wait to cuddle him. Going to meet him Monday all being well. X (sic)"
Beverley wasn’t the only member of her family who was excited about welcoming a new addition, because she also shared a picture of her pet pooch Jeffrey looking delighted at the news.
She wrote: "Jeffrey is very excited at becoming an uncle!"
When Beverley isn’t busy spending time with her family or shooting scenes on the cobbles, she likes to tune into ‘Emmerdale’ – but doesn’t watch ‘Corrie’.
She recently said: "I don’t watch ‘Corrie’ as I can’t watch myself – never have done in anything. I haven’t watched it for going on 10 years.
"I’d rather not watch it. I do love a bit of ‘Emmerdale’, though."
Beverley’s daughter Rebecca has previously admitted her mum would love it if the ‘Detectorists’ star appeared in ‘EastEnders’, because she is also a big fan of the goings on in Albert Square.
Rebecca – who played Ruth Walsh in ‘Corrie’ in 2011 – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "My mum loves ‘EastEnders’, absolutely loves it.
"In fact, my mum watches ‘Emmerdale’ and she watches ‘EastEnders’ and I think she watches ‘Holby’ [Holby City] as well, religiously. So I think, I mean she absolutely loves it, so I think she’d love it [if I were in ‘EastEnders’]."
