Beverley Callard gets her first tattoo

‘Coronation Street’ star Beverley Callard has got her first tattoo at the age of 59.
The actress – who is best known for her role as Liz McDonald in the ITV soap – has got the inking as a tribute to her husband Jon McEwan, with the tattoo featuring tragedy and comedy masks over a music score, as well as the date they tied the knot back in 2010.
Beverley captioned the image on her Twitter account: "Inked today xx. (sic)"
The actress had the inking done shortly after she revealed her psychiatrist believes she has bipolar.
She previously said: "My psychiatrist at present, he is convinced that I am bipolar too. He is convinced of it. The way he explained it to me is that I don’t get these amazing highs or hallucinations.
"But I get the tremendous lows. I don’t get the good bits I get the bad bits. But now I am much more even and relaxed."
In March, Beverley was signed off work for two months when she fell into a deep depression while shooting scenes for ‘Coronation Street’.
She recalled: "I was completely suicidal. I couldn’t leave the house. I didn’t leave the bedroom. I wouldn’t take calls."
