Bethenny Frankel wants her daughter to have a "healthy relationship with food."
The 43-year-old reality TV star doesn’t want Bryn, four, to grow up around people that have negative thoughts about themselves and she wants to stress to the youngster the importance of being nice to others.
Speaking to the Huffington Post, she said: "It started the second she was born, I remember my ex saying, ‘She’s so pretty, she’s so beautiful,’ and I said, ‘She’s a nice girl. I wouldn’t want any of my friends or anyone around me and my daughter saying, ‘I feel fat’ or ‘My jeans feel tight,’ because you want them to have a healthy relationship with food.
"People just think there’s tofu and brown rice around my house all the time, and it’s not like that. We eat a lot of greens, salads, lentils and healthy foods, but there’s ice cream, pizza and French fries and all that stuff too."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty had been locked in a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy for over 16 months, but the former couple agreed to share parental duties over Bryn in June.
Bethenny knows Bryn is aware of the negative energy between her and Jason, but she admits she does everything she can to make sure she feels loved and supported by both of her parents.
She explained: "As long as they’re [children are] loved, and feel important, supported and you spend time with them, then they are happy."
