Ben Hardy joins No Exit

Ben Hardy has joined the cast of ‘No Exit’.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star, who found fame in Hollywood in new comic book blockbuster ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ has joined the cast of the action title alongside Jennifer Connelly, Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges, Taylor Kitsch and James Badge Dale.
The movie tells the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, who were a team within the Prescott Fire Department tasked with battling one of the deadliest wildfires in the history of Arizona.
The film will follow the story of the brave group – whose ages ranged from 21 to 43 – that were sent into action to tackle the Yarnell Hill Fire, which threatened to consume the Arizona town of Yarnell.
In the searing heat and changeable weather conditions, the fire turned especially deadly, and 19 of the 20 men were killed.
They died on June 30, 2013 and it represented the greatest loss of life for fire-fighters in a wildfire since 1933, was the deadliest wildfire of any kind since 1991, and the department suffered the greatest loss of life in the United States since fire-fighters were sent in to clear the fires that raged New York City in the wake of the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001.
Black label is financing the film which will be directed by ‘Tron: Legacy’s Joseph Kosinski.
A start date for production is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Hardy – who comes from Dorset on the south coast of England – will be seen next in ‘The Storm in the Stars’ opposite Elle Fanning, Bel Powley and Douglas Booth.
