Ben Haenow will propose to his girlfriend "whether he wins ‘The X Factor’ or not".
The wannabe singer has denied rumours that he plans to get down on one knee if he wins ‘The X Factor’ this year, as he revealed that he intends to marry his long-term girlfriend Jessica Jones even if he doesn’t win the ITV singing competition.
In an interview with Star magazine, Ben said: "Jessica and I have been together for six years so I’m going to marry her whether I win or not!"
The 29-year-old former van driver did admit that his girlfriend doesn’t always appreciate it when Ben’s female fans start showing him attention.
He told the mag: "It is a bit odd for her. If the shoe was on the other foot I’d find it quite hard, but she knows she’s the one for me."
Ben – who is being mentored by Simon Cowell – then revealed the reason he’s been keeping the fact that he’s in a long-term relationship so quiet.
The crooner said: "I’m not going to bang on about the fact I’m in a relationship. on every show because it would get boring! But she’s my muse – if I’m singing a romantic song I’ll think of her."
