Ben Cohen’s estranged wife Abby believes he did cheat on her with his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner Kristina Rihanoff.
The professional dancer – who has been nicknamed the Siberian Siren – recently spoke out to insist she and Ben did not get together until after his split from Abby, but the retired rugby star’s estranged wife believes their relationship began when they were partnered together on the show in 2013.
Abby said: "I feel like he deceived me on every level you can imagine.
"My husband, who I was with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect, has left me for a f***ing Russian dancer."
Rumours of an affair between Ben and Kristina first began circulating when they were competing on the BBC One dance contest.
But the pair – who now admit they are dating – claim they didn’t get together until earlier this year, following Ben’s split from Abby in September 2014.
Abby told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "The last two years have been the most traumatic thing to ever happen to me.
"He’s done the dirty on me. I want people to know.
"I don’t want to cause stress or further damage by stirring things up. But I’m just trying to recover from what has been the most horrific time of my life."
Abby – who has twin daughters Harriette and Isabelle with Ben – recently filed for divorce and is now "concentrating" on her children as well as her photography business.
Meanwhile, Kristina – who previously dated retired boxing star Joe Calzaghe following his stint on the show – is reportedly thinking about quitting ‘Strictly’, telling friends she "can’t take it anymore".
A source said: "Kristina is right on the point of resigning. She has been saying that she can’t take the criticism day in, day out. She doesn’t want it and can’t do it anymore.
"She is a real professional so it was a shock."
