Ben Affleck to star in The Accountant?

Ben Affleck is reportedly in talks to star in ‘The Accountant’.

The 42-year-old actor is believed to be in negotiations with Warner Bros. about the long-developing thriller, which has been written by Bill DuBuque, reports Variety magazine.

The plot of ‘The Accountant’ follows the story of an average bookkeeper who in his spare time, becomes a lethal assassin.

After success directing ‘Argo’ – for which he picked up a Golden Globe for ‘Best Director’ amongst other awards – Ben signed up to direct period crime drama, ‘Live By Night’.

However, it is expected to be delayed further due to Ben’s roles in ‘Gone Girl’ and ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, with production now expected to begin in July 2015.

Meanwhile, Ben has revealed that his children are unimpressed with his upcoming starring role as Batman, because they prefer ‘Frozen’ to superhero films.

The actor – who has three children with wife Jennifer Garner – Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and two-year-old son Samuel – are all obsessed with the 2013 Disney animated movie.

He said: ”Because of the fact I’m playing Batman now, people say, ‘Are your kids into it?’ The truth is, they’re not. If I was doing the sequel to ‘Frozen’ I would be a hero.

"My two older daughters couldn’t give a s**t about Batman and they’ve now passed that affection onto my son. He’s always like, ‘Papa, can I watch Frozen?’ And I’m like, ‘No, dude, it’s not on again!’"
