Ayda Field to place bet on her X Factor acts

Ayda Field is so confident one of her ‘X Factor’ acts will win the show she plans to place a bet on each one.
The show judge is putting her money where her mouth is by forking out her hard-earned cash to support her wannabes Danny Tetley, Giovanni Spano, Olatunji Yearwood and Janice Robinson, and "100 per cent" thinks she has the winner in her Overs category.
Ahead of the live shows, which begin tomorrow (20.10.18), she said: "I’m really excited. I keep asking myself if I’m nervous yet because I haven’t felt nervous yet. I’m sure tomorrow I will.
"I think I’ve got the winner for sure, 100%. Listen, I’m going to put money on all of them, every single one of them."
While she has been supporting her contestants, Ayda has also received some judging support from her six-year-old daughter Teddy – who she shares with her husband and fellow panellist Robbie Williams – and admitted the youngster inspired her to say yes to some of her acts.
Ayda said: "She loves it. When she came to auditions she kept getting mad at me if I said no to somebody.
"I was being judged by my daughter – she was telling me the rights and wrongs. On a few of them I knew my daughter was right and I was like, ‘It’s a yes from me.’ "
While the 39-year-old star is enjoying working with her four acts, she admits it is a "big responsibility" playing such a huge part in their dreams.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, she added: "It’s a big responsibility to kind of say yay or nay to someone’s dreams and their career. It’s something I take very seriously.
"I love them [my acts] as humans. They’re really nice. That was a really big thing for me. Robbie and I both like to work with people we like.
"You’re spending lots of time and energy to be around people you vibe with. My four are the kindest, most compassionate, interesting contestants of the entire competition."
Ayda looks set to make some big money if one of her ‘X Factor’ acts triumphs in the competition – because all four are outsiders to win the series.
Bookie William Hill has priced both Danny and Janice at 25/1, Olatunji is a 28/1 shot, and some serious money could be made on Giovanni with his 100/1 odds.
If the bookies have it right then Ayda’s husband Robbie could be the happiest judge on final night because his Groups act Misunderstood are currently 5/2 favourites to win the competition.
