Axl Rose wants to play more AC/DC shows

Axl Rose is desperate to do "more shows" with AC/DC.
The Guns N’ Roses frontman has been standing in for Brian Johnson, who was forced to take time out due to an ongoing ear problem, on the band’s ‘Rock Or Bust Tour’ – which concludes in Dusseldorf, Germany on June 15 – but he’s keen to continue working with the group in the future.
AC/DC’s guitarist Angus Young said: "We’re committed to finishing this tour, so that’s been our main goal.
"Axl helping us – I know he’s very excited. He keeps saying, can he do more [shows]. But we don’t know at the end. This tour, which we were committed to, we want to finish it."
And the 61-year-old rocker is thrilled Axl is able to throw himself into the gigs more now that his foot is on the mend after he dramatically broke it before he joined AC/DC.
Speaking in an interview with Germany’s NDR, Angus said of the 54-year-old rocker: "His leg’s repairing. Each show we’ve been doing, he’s been getting up and moving around a lot more. So it adds to the show."
The heavy metal outfit – also comprised of Cliff Williams, Stevie Young and Chris Slade – recently performed in Prague where they surprised fans by performing ‘Touch Too Much’ for the first time in 35 years and have promised to expect more rare treats along the way.
Taking to Twitter earlier this week, they wrote: "[Last night] AC/DC played ‘Touch Too Much for the first time since 1979! What rarity would you like to hear at a show? (sic)"
Meanwhile, Brian recently revealed he was forced to quit the tour after crystallised fluids had been eating away at his ear and made his hearing increasingly worse.
