Aston Merrygold’s pregnant girlfriend has told him he has no choice but to go to parenting classes.
The JLS singer is set to welcome his first child into the world with his partner Sarah Richards in January and she’s keen to get him as ready as she possibly can for fatherhood so has demanded that he accompany her to the free workshops she’s attending between now and the New Year.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (25.10.17), he said: "I definitely will go to the parenting classes as I can’t even manage my own life.
"I’m definitely going to go to parenting classes – I’ve been told this as well so I have to go! Sarah has told me I’ve got to go. I’m looking forward to it."
And, although they’re just months away from meeting their little bundle of joy, the couple – who have been together for several years – have decided not to find out the sex of their baby until it’s born.
He explained: "We don’t know what it’s going to be. I’m so excited to find out there and then and that famous text that everyone sends out: it’s a boy, it’s a girl and the name. The whole experience, I don’t really want to plan everything down to a T."
The pair found out they were expecting their first child in May but managed to keep their happy news a secret until September – when it was announced Aston was doing ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 29-year-old hunk recently admitted that the skimpy outfits he’s forced to wear every weekend on the ballroom and Latin show have actually spiced up their sex life because she’s obsessed with them.
He said: "I’ve got a baby on the way, so what can I say? Our sex life is pretty good. Clearly the show has significantly improved something there. She does like all my outfits and the moves."
