Ashley Banjo says Lemar has had plenty of chances on Dancing on Ice

Ashley Banjo thinks Lemar should be booted off ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The show judge believes the ‘If There’s Any Justice’ hitmaker has been given "plenty of chances" after he was saved by the skin of his teeth in the skate-off for two weeks running, but insists he should get the axe if the public fail to vote for him this weekend.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Ashley said: "I voted for Steph [Waring] but I’m pleased Lemar is there because he started a month later than everyone else.
"He’s been given enough chances. Lemar is now level pegging. If he’s in the dance off again I think he should go.
"I always said I’d be honest and I think that honesty comes across as toughness. But I’m just being honest in the same way I would be to Jordan and the Diversity boys."
Lemar, 39, was initially a reserve on the show’s line up and was asked to step in when cricketer Monty Panesar pulled out because he broke his ankle during training.
Meanwhile, this is the first time Ashley – who is best known for leading the dance troupe Diversity – has joined the skating show’s panel but he believes he’s right at home there because of his background in dancing.
He said: "It feels good. I feel at home. I’m just really enjoying the show."
And the 29-year-old hunk thinks there will be a few more disagreements between him and his fellow panelists – Jason Gardiner, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – as the competition heats up because they all come from different backgrounds.
He said: "I think it’s gonna get even more. It’s gonna get even stronger.
"We come from more of a dance background, they come from technical skating."
