Ashley Banjo joins Dancing on Ice panel?

Ashley Banjo has joined the ‘Dancing on Ice’ judging panel.
The Diversity dancer – who shot into the limelight in 2009 when his dance troupe won ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ – has been approached for the forthcoming reboot because bosses believe he’s "extremely talented" and has a "great eye for choreography."
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Producers are really excited about bringing Ashley into the fold. As well as being extremely talented, he has a great eye for choreography and can deliver strategic advice objectively.
"He might be a charmer, but he’s not a push-over and isn’t afraid to tell a contestant if they’re getting something wrong."
The 28-year-old street dancer will be sitting on the panel alongside Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – who coached the competitors on the original – but it’s not yet known whether Robin Cousins, Karen Barber and Ashley Roberts will be back.
Although Ashley doesn’t have experience when it comes to ice skating, the hunk previously judged on ‘Dance Dance Dance’ this year and ‘Got to Dance’ in 2014.
Meanwhile, Jayne and Christopher won’t be the only familiar faces to make a comeback for the revamp as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will also present.
Holly said: "Phil and I actually met rink side on ‘Dancing on Ice’. For us to be going back together and doing it as well is lovely because it feels like such a long time ago."
And, although the show the nation knows and loves will be back with a similar format, Phillip has admitted there are some "big changes" in the pipeline for the revamp.
He said: "There are some big changes – all for the better, I think – because it is the most dangerous show on the tele. It’s got its own home."
The forthcoming series may see more injuries on the ice, as the professionals will be coming up with their own routines – rather than being given choreography.
‘Dancing on Ice’ will return in January.
