Rixton think Ariana Grande likes talking to them because they are "normal".
The group have supported the ‘Problem’ singer on several dates of her US tour, and will do so again at her upcoming gig at London’s O2 Arena, and they get on well with the 21-year-old star.
Bassist Charley Bagnall told BANG Showbiz: "I think she likes talking to us because we are normal. Just to get away from everything and have a normal conversation. "
Singer Jake Roche added: "She is really nice. She goes out of her way to make us feel welcome and she doesn’t have to."
And the group are stunned at how far their career has come in a short time.
On playing New York’s Madison Square Garden with Ariana, drummer Lewi Morgan said: "We are just four lads who started six years ago, played two nights at Madison Square Garden and we were around backstage thinking what has happened to our lives?"
