Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong to meet to finalise divorce

Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong are set to come face-to-face on Friday (06.09.19) to finalise their divorce.
The former couple – who wed in 2006 – had been a couple for 24 years before they split in January 2018 and although they were granted a decree nisi in October 2018, they have yet to finalise the divorce settlement.
Ant started dating his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, three months later.
A source told The Daily Mirror newspaper: "Ant is really keen on drawing a line under everything and moving on with his life. The meeting is part of that process.
"At the end of the day, he is really in love with Anne-Marie and just wants to get the divorce over and done with.
"They are both adults and it’s hopeful things are resolved soon."
Ant, 43, and Lisa, 42, were due to meet at London’s Royal Courts of Justice last November but he failed to show up and was told off by the judge.
Announcing their split in 2018, a representative for Ant said: "In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin. Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families."
And Ant – who entered rehab last year after pleading guilty to a drink-driving conviction following a car crash – has claimed his new girlfriend Anne-Marie had been his "rock" throughout his recovery process.
He said: "Anne-Marie honestly is the fundamental reason for the great change in my life. She’s been my rock. She’s a beautiful soul. We’re very happy. I’m in the best place I’ve been in my life, to be honest with you. It’s great."
