Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway returns in February

‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ is returning next month.
The hugely popular ITV entertainment show – which has first hosted by the Geordie duo in 2002, and returned in 2013 after a three year hiatus – will be back after taking a break last year while Ant McPartlin focused on his sobriety.
Now, it’s been confirmed the programme will be back on the small screen in February, while a new trailer has been unveiled to hype the big return.
The teaser – which will air from tomorrow night (01.02.20) – hints at all of viewers’ favourite segments returning, including the likes of Ant & Dec Undercover and Win the Ads.
To the tune of the ‘Can-Can’, the two presenters sing: "’Saturday Night Takeaway’, the biggest yet, it’s back – hooray! Stunts and pranks and games galore, with me and you, and so much more!
"Loads of stuff is up for grabs, the live show where you win the ads. So grab your mum, your dad, your nan, for 90 minutes we all can-can! Amazing prizes – the audience will go insane. Big surprises – loads more places on the plane.
"Even though the hosts are small, we’ll have you dancing up the wall. The biggest stars you’ll ever see, all shown live on ITV!"
The duo also get interrupted by Stephen Mulhern, seemingly confirming his return for the new series.
Meanwhile, Ant and Dec won the National Television Award for Best TV Presenter for the 19th year in a row, and joked they’re already eyeing up number 20.
Ant said: "We are more grateful than we ever have been before. We are voted for year after year after year and we are incredibly grateful… It would be nice to get 20, though."
