Ant and Dec to release book marking 30 years on TV

Ant and Dec are in the process of writing a book to mark 30 years in TV.
The TV presenting pair have confirmed they are working on the tome, and plan to release it on September 3rd.
A statement on their Twitter account read: "This year we’ll have been working together for 30 years (blimey!) and we’re writing a book to mark the anniversary with stories and pics from our time on the telly, published 3rd September. (sic)"
The book, entitled ‘Once Upon A Tyne’, will drop in September to coincide with the Geordie duo’s first appearance on ‘Byker Grove’ in 1990.
‘Once Upon A Tyne’ will tell previously unheard anecdotes about the pair’s rise to fame, and it was recently described by literary insiders as "the biggest celebrity book of the year".
A source previously said: "The idea of a book to mark 30 years has been talked about by Ant and Dec and their team for a while.
"But as soon as word got out of the industry publishers were chomping at the bit.
"As it stands 12 publishing houses are bidding for it and it will sell for a massive figure. It’ll easily be the celebrity book of the year as Ant and Dec are national treasures.
"They both starred in ‘Byker Grove’ together for the first time in 1990, around September time, so the thinking is to release it to coincide with that if they can’t get it together in time."
It will be the duo’s second book after they released their joint autobiography, ‘Ooh! What a Lovely Pair: Our Story’ in 2010.
