Anne Hegerty hosting celebrity version of Britain’s Brightest Family

Anne Hegerty will front a celebrity version of ‘Britain’s Brightest Family’.
The general knowledge expert’s ITV show proved to be a huge hit with viewers, and channel bosses commissioned a series of all-star special episodes, which were filmed earlier this year.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "The celeb version of the show is set to air around the same time as ‘I’m A Celebrity’ is back, with Anne – who was a favourite in the jungle camp last year – in the seat as host."
The programme – set for a prime time slot – will let the viewers see a different side to their favourite stars, with interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen amongst those to sign up to face the quizzer.
The source added: "Celebrities up for the challenge will be out to prove they and their family have the brains to take the crown.
"It will also offer them a chance to show a different side to their public persona. It is a feel-good family show which will be broadcast prime-time."
Last month, it was revealed Anne, 61, and her ‘The Chase’ co-stars – Mark Labett, Jenny Ryan and Shaun Wallace – will be taking on international geniuses in new show ‘Are You Smarter Than A Chaser?’ and they will also test their brains against intelligent robots.
An insider recently said: "Anne and The Chasers will be travelling across the world to prove that they can outsmart every living being – and robots.
"It’s also a lighthearted look at how we measure and judge intelligence and how children, for example, can be far cleverer than adults due to their developing brains figuring things out such as technology in ways grown-ups can’t."
