Anna Vakili returns to work as pharmacist to fight coronavirus

Anna Vakili has return to her job as a pharmacist amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The former ‘Love Island’ star quit her role to appear on the 2019 series of the ITV2 dating show, but decided to go back to work after "it felt wrong" not to help people suffering from the deadly respiratory disease.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (01.04.30), she shared a snap of herself wearing a mask and gloves in the pharmacy.
Anna wrote: "First day back working as a Pharmacist since leaving Love Island. It’s been almost a whole year!
"Wow can’t believe how fast it’s gone. Wasn’t really planning on registering yet but with everything that’s going on it felt wrong not to. We can all fight this together. Stay safe. Stay home. Save lives. (sic)"
The 29-year-old beauty received heaps of praise from her former Islanders, and her sister Mandi took to social media to share how proud she was.
The 26-year-old makeup artist shared her sibling’s post on her Instagram Stories, and added: "Insanely proud of my sister who went back to be a pharmacist after a year to help with the current crisis. Inspiration."
Despite being unlucky in love on ‘Love Island’, Anna has tasted success outside the villa, meaning her mum "doesn’t have to work anymore".
After being dumped from the villa, Anna secured a range of deals, including launching her own collection with her younger sister in collaboration with footwear brand Simmi London.
She previously gushed: "It’s changed for the better. I’m very grateful for all of the things that have come my way, but the best thing about it is my mum doesn’t have to work anymore. There have definitely been more ups than downs."
