Angelina Jolie’s children give her "sleepless nights".
The 38-year-old actress admits she’s constantly worried about her kids, Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, whom she has with fiancé Brad Pitt, because she couldn’t bear it if something happened to them or someone she loves.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, she said: "I think like every mother I’m just afraid of something happening to them [my children]. We’re in a new hotel room and I couldn’t sleep because I was worried that the railing was too short on the stairs.
"Of course just anything happening to somebody that I love is my greatest fear. There’s a lot that keeps me up a night, there’s a lot of bad stuff going on in the world."
Meanwhile, the ‘Unbroken’ director recently revealed she never thought she’d find someone to love and have children with because she believed it was a fantasy.
She said: "I never thought I’d have children, I never thought I’d be in love, I never thought I’d meet the right person.
"Having come from a broken home–you kind of accept that certain things feel like a fairy tale, and you just don’t look for them."
