Andy Serkis unsure about Tin Tin sequel

Andy Serkis admits the ‘Adventures of Tin Tin’ sequel is a "mystery".
The 51-year-old actor portrayed Captain Haddock in the 2011 movie – which starred Jamie Bell in the lead role – and though director Sir Peter Jackson is keen to make another installment, Andy is unsure when the project will begin.
Asked about the sequel, he said: "Well do you know, it’s a bit of a mystery at the moment I know that Peter is very keen on making it and at some point I expect at some point it will come back.
"So it won’t be immediately I shouldn’t think. But I’m definitely looking forward to it. It was really good fun, really entertaining."
But for now, the motion capture expert has plenty of work to keep him busy and is thrilled with the results of what he’s been doing.
He said: "It’s hard [juggling so much], I mean I’m loving it, I’m having a great time at the moment.
"I’ve just finished shooting the next ‘Planet of The Apes’, with Matt Reeves and got a great cast, shooting with Woody Harrelson. I literally got back from that yesterday and it was amazing. Result terrific. So I’m sort of reeling from that.
"But I’m in the middle of post production for ‘Jungle Book’ and that’s what I’m working on now and will be for the next year."
Andy thinks the work on motion capture technology has changed dramatically over the last two decades.
He told BANG Showbiz: "It has changed over the last 15 years and mostly two things really, the technology has obviously evolved. So that we can shoot on live action sets and the connection between the actors is more real. So you don’t have to go back and shoot afterwards on your own.
"But actually the perception of our had changed, so it’s standard industry, image capture is standard.
"You know, there’s so many technologies that are working better to make it faster and the way that the animators are understanding it and bringing that to life on screen."
