‘X Factor’ star Andrea Faustini has revealed he’s still a virgin.
The 20-year-old singer has confessed he has never had a sexual relationship his life and compares himself to unlucky-in-love literary and film character Bridget Jones.
He admitted: "Love is something that I have never looked for and has never come my way. I haven’t yet found the special person who is right for me. I am the male Bridget Jones- awkward. I always mess up."
When quizzed if was a virgin in an interview with Italian Vanity Fair magazine, he replied: "Well, if in 20 years I have never been in love…"
Andrea also insisted he is not going to lose any weight to help him find love or achieve pop success because he is comfortable in his own skin.
He said: "The physical form has never been a problem for me. I have always been proud of my belly, acquired with years of carbs!"
Andrea admits it has been a dream come true to have Mel B as his mentor because she was always his favourite Spice Girl, and he once even had a doll of the pop star.
He revealed: "She is voluptuous like me, and frank and direct. When I was little I was a Spice Girls fan. When I saw them I used to crease up laughing. I was even given a Mel B Barbie as a present in 1998."
Andrea will sing to stay in the competition again this Saturday (22.11.14) with the theme being Whitney Houston versus Sir Elton John.
