Amy Childs was ‘addicted’ to plastic surgery and had lips done 20 times in 8 years

Amy Childs was addicted to cosmetic surgery and got lip fillers 20 times in less than 10 years.

The 29-year-old reality star – who wanted work done when she just 12 years old and first underwent surgery at 18 – revealed that despite not adding any filler over the past four years, her lips will always look puffy due to complications from the procedure.

Appearing on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (26.05.20), she revealed: "I’ve not had them done for four years but you still have this swollen look.

"I might have a burst blood vessel on my left side, it’s why I’ve got this puffiness. I must have had my lips done 20 times in eight years."

The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star wanted a boob job after girls at school teased her for having small breasts, but now she regrets going to such extreme lengths to feel "attractive".

She said: "I look back to ‘TOWIE’ and I was attractive. I had my boobs done when I was 18, I didn’t have any filler, no Botox. I had my first surgery at 18.

"I wanted my boobs done when I was 12 at school. I wanted a breast augmentation. I got teased at school, people used to say about my small boobs. I looked at other girls with big boobs. I just didn’t feel good and I was so young. I look back now and it’s really sad."

However, she soon became "addicted" to cosmetic surgery but it was her parents that helped her snap out of her habit four years ago.

She added: "I got addicted and I thought I looked well. Four years ago I was looking at pictures and it was only when my mum and dad said, ‘You look like a freak Amy’. I cried."
