Amy Childs has given up her dog.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star has been left heartbroken after she came to the decision to rehome her pet pooch Leo , who she’s had for three years, because he was getting jealous over her four-week-old daughter Polly.
Speaking to new! magazine, she said: "I’ve been distraught this week as I’ve had to give up my dog Leo. He’s been my baby for three years, but he was so big and got a bit jealous and I have to put Polly first. He had gone to a lovely couple who are my good friends. They have a beautiful house and huge garden, and Leo absolutely loves it. It’s broken my heart though. I can’t even visit him at the moment as I know I’ll get really stressed and upset. I know he’s happy but I do miss him being around."
However, although she’s devastated, the 26-year-old beauty has been pre-occupied with her mummy duties as her little girl, whom she has with her boyfriend Bradley Knight, has been struggling with a really "sore" nappy rash.
She explained: "She’s had it for about a week or so and it looks so red and sore … Lots of people told me to try olive oil or coconut oil, while others recommended traditional cream. But the best tip that I found – and you won’t believe this – is egg whites! I’ve been using them for a few days and I can already see a change."
