Amy Childs axed from Celebrity MasterChef

Amy Child has been eliminated from ‘Celebrity MasterChef’.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star was given the boot in Wednesday night’s (06.07.16) show after her stomach-churning two-course meal failed to impress tough-talking judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
She said after getting the chop: "I’m a little bit gutted, I really am. I would have loved to stay in the competition. Look, I’m really proud of myself and I couldn’t do any more."
The brunette beauty appeared to get off to a good start as she served up the basic meal of chicken wings, sweet potato and half a chopped tomato with jagged edges.
However, she failed to keep her cool in the second round when she was ordered to serve a two-course meal.
Things fell apart when her portobello mushrooms stuffed with goat’s cheese failed to hit the mark, while the beef with broccoli and butternut squash was raw and tasteless.
Gregg said with a chuckle: "They all had faults. However [Amy] had a few more faults than the others."
The 26-year-old beauty was up against the likes of Sid Owen, Tina Malone, paralympian Liz Johnson and BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin and, although their dishes weren’t overly impressive either, they did make it to the next round.
Meanwhile, Amy may have struggled to keep her nerves under control in the heated ‘MasterChef’ kitchen but she has vowed to continue cooking and working on her technique.
