Amelle Berrabah approached for The X Factor

Amelle Berrabah has been approached for ‘The X Factor’ a "few times."
The 32-year-old singer – who joined the Sugababes as Mutya Buena’s replacement in 2005 – has admitted she’s been asked by bosses to join the show’s judging panel but she’s always politely declined the offers.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I just can’t do the whole fake stuff. With ‘The X Factor’, I’ve had a few interviews to sit on the panel and for some presenting stuff, I mean I love ‘The X Factor’ – there’s been some big stars that have come from it and they’re taking over. They’ve done so much for some artists and their bands."
But, although she’s given the ITV singing show the cold shoulder a couple of times, the brunette beauty would jump at the chance to join rival show ‘The Voice’s coaching panel and thinks it’s best suited to her.
She explained: "Judging panels, like ‘The Voice’, if they approached me I’d be like ‘yeah’ because I know I’d only go with my heart. I’ve been in the industry and I know it inside out and I would only go with my heart and go with voices who I believe could actually do something.
"Voices are like instruments, you can change it and add to it and you can always learn how to make it better so if I could do that for two or three people in the show I’d be happy."
And it seems Amelle could just be in luck as bosses of the show are currently on the hunt for a new coaching line-up following its move to ITV.
