Amanda Bynes to remain under conservatorship until 2020

Amanda Bynes will remain under conservatorship for the next two years.
The 32-year-old actress and fashion student – who was sectioned in 2013 after a very public breakdown – has control of her own finances but her mother Lynn is conservator over her "person" and will continue "to make decisions about health and medical issues", according to The Blast.
Court documents were filed last week to extend the conservatorship until 2020 as Amanda has been doing so well since it was put into place.
The ‘Hairspray’ star rose to fame as a child in Nickelodeon series ‘All That’ and by 13 was starring in her own sketch series ‘The Amanda Show’.
He last acting role was in 2010 move ‘Easy A’ with Emma Stone.
Amanda was kicked out of the Los Angeles Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2014 but returned in 2015, majority in product development. She hopes to launch her own fashion line.
The ‘She’s The Man’ actress saw her life spiral out of control when she was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in 2012.
A few months later she was charged with two hit and runs, although these were later dismissed following a financial settlement between her and the victims.
Amanda was also arrested at her home for possession of marijuana, attempting to tamper with evidence and reckless endangerment. She was sectioned for mental health issues after she attempted to start a fire outside a family home.
Meanwhile, Amanda’s ‘All That’ co-star Nick Cannon says the star is doing "much better" these days.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he said: "As of recently, I haven’t [spoken to her], but I heard she’s doing so much better. People, when they’re dealing with personal issues, sometimes you gotta give them their space, and then when they reach out, that’s the time to do it."
And although they are not in close contact, Nick hopes Amanda will reach out if she ever needs him.
He said: "It’s always an open invite whenever she needs anything, career or even personally. I’m here.
"We were trying to get her on [sketch show] ‘Wild ‘N Out’. We had the ‘All That’ reunion, and that’s kind of when I knew, like, ‘OK, she’s still working on herself,’ which is an outstanding thing. But, you know, she’s always welcome. That’s little sis right there."
