Alyson Hannigan dressed her daughter in an outfit that looked like a sandwich bag.
The 40-year-old ‘How I Met Your Mother’ actress has become a keen sewer since the popular sitcom ended earlier this year, taking up classes to refine her craft – and she’s revealed that after starting by making fairly modest items, her ambitions have grown quickly.
Alyson – who has two daughters, Satyana, five, and Keeva, two – explained: "I bought all this really lovely organic fabric online with this cute butterfly fabric.
"I had signed up for this children’s dressmaking class and I was anxious to use the fabric, so I made a reusable sandwich bag out of it."
Alyson, who married her husband and the father of her children Alexis Denisof in 2003, told People magazine: "Then when I started making the dress for Sati, I held it up for her and she’s like, ‘Oh, I will match my sandwich!"
Earlier this month, meanwhile, it was revealed that Alyson’s ‘How I Met Your Mother’ co-star Cobie Smulders is expecting her second child.
The actress and her actor husband, Taran Killam – who already have daughter Shaelyn Cado, five – are set to welcome their second child into the world next year.
