Alison Hammond joins WW as ambassador

Alison Hammond has joined WW as their new ambassador.
The ‘This Morning’ roving reporter is delighted to become the face of the weight loss assistance company – formerly known as Weight Watchers before slimming down its moniker – because the programme encourages her to keep fit and stay healthy while she juggles her hectic lifestyle as a mother and television star.
Alison said: "My WW journey is focused on getting healthier for myself. I feel rubbish when I don’t eat properly or exercise and WW helps me with what I eat and do.
"It’s been 17 years since I began working in TV, and I’m busier than ever, especially juggling my duties as a mum. WW is the only programme that works for me, with the Online WW Coach there for support whenever you need it, 24 hours a day.
"They tell me what I need to do if I’m struggling or in need of inspiration.
"So, for me, having that support in my pocket at all times is incredible. This is a huge relief when you’re considering something as important as your mental and physical health."
The 44-year-old TV presenter – who has a 13-year-old son Aiden – says her mission is to empower others to make positive lifestyle changes and become healthier.
She said: "I know I’ll also lose weight through following the WW programme, but that’s not the be-all and end-all for me. I want my journey to empower others to think about making changes to their lifestyle to become the best version of themselves."
WW bosses are delighted to welcome Alison – who shot to fame after appearing on the third series of ‘Big Brother’ in 2002 – to their brand, because they know her outgoing and bubbly personality will inspire others who also want to get into shape.
Jemma Banks, WW marketing director, said: "We are delighted to welcome Alison to the family and know her positive energy and mind-set will inspire others who want to lose weight and get healthier."
