Alison Hammond: Hollywood hunks prepared me for dates

Alison Hammond’s celebrity interviews helped her prepare for ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The ‘This Morning’ roving reporter has chatted to the likes of Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for the brunch-time show, and her A-list conversations have encouraged her to loosen up with potential suitors on the dating show.
She is quoted by The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column as saying: "Interviewing some of those big celebrities has actually helped with this. The issue was always going to be whether they were going to excite me enough and keep me on my toes.
"I mean, I’ve had time with The Rock and Hugh Jackman, so these guys have got big shoes to fill."
The 45-year-old star – who is mum to 14-year-old Aiden, who she shares with her ex Noureddine Boufaied – was left "gutted" when she split from security guard Jamie Savage in 2017, but now she is ready to find someone who can make her "heart sing".
She continued: "You have to make my heart sing, you have to have a bit about yourself in order for me to stay interested. I tend to lose interest quickly."
Now her son is all grown up, Alison is ready to jump back into the dating pool and meet someone new.
A source previously said: "Alison has been single for some time now. She’s always prioritised her career and being a mum to her son.
"But now she’s keen to meet someone as he’s getting slightly older and she’d love to be romantically involved with a partner."
Alison added: "I’ve always given my heart and soul to my career and I think it’s time now to give some quality time to dating.
"I’m already complete, I’m looking for someone who’s secure, together and got their s**t going on!
"I’m ready to find that one. Or you never know, maybe two!"
