Alicia Douvall has advised her daughters not to have plastic surgery.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who was evicted from the reality show house on Friday (23.01.15) – admits to spending over £1 million on cosmetic procedures but claims she doesn’t want her daughters, Georgia, 19, and toddler Papaya to follow in her footsteps.
She said: "My biggest achievement in life is where my daughters are. I don’t want them to make the same mistakes that I did.
"I want them to know that you should never rely on a man, and never let a man abuse you.
"And I never want them to have surgery. I want them to be happy with their bodies the way that they are.
"I made the mistake of trying to get through life that way. But I don’t want the same for them. Everyone should get an education."
The former glamour model claims Georgia has already overcome so much and is on the path to success.
She told The Sun newspaper: "My teenage daughter Georgia is the complete opposite to me, she has been with the same boyfriend for three years, is anti-plastic surgery and very studious.
"She is studying acting at Bath University and plans to do a masters … She’s been through more than a 19-year-old should have done, but it’s made her stronger and us much closer."
Alicia insists that despite admitting she only learnt the alphabet while teaching it to Papaya, she plans to go ahead with home schooling her herself.
She explained: "I was really angry about being labelled the thick one [in the house].
"Because I’m dyslexic I left school at 14 without learning to read or write, so I don’t have any of the basics other people have, like the alphabet. But that doesn’t mean I’m thick.
"And it doesn’t mean I shouldn’t home school my child. I was worried about it at first, but then I realised that you can learn with your child. You don’t have to know everything.
"If you don’t know about something, you can Google it. So far we’ve learnt shapes, the alphabet and the sounds of letters – like what sound a c makes – I didn’t know that before."
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old star claims that while the ‘Big Brother’ house was a "living hell" at times, it was the "experience of a lifetime" and she has no regrets.
