Alexis Ren says she loves working with her ‘Dancing with the Stars’ partner Alan Bersten "so much" amid rumours they’re dating.
The 21-year-old model has been romantically linked to the professional dancer since they’ve been working on the show and while Alexis has gushed about Alan, she’s also remained diplomatic about the dating rumours.
Alexis – who previously appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue – said: "I mean, we’re just, we’re just so happy to be here and like I love him so much and I love his energy so much and we’ve been so focused on the competition."
Alan was similarly coy amid the romance rumours, insisting they are both focused on the competition.
He explained to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "I feel like the experience is once in a lifetime and we’re just making the most of it and really just going out there and having fun."
The show’s hosts, Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, have already referred to Alexis and Alan’s "chemistry".
But when she was asked directly whether they are dating, Alexis replied: "I’m not answering that … I can barely get through [these] Mondays!"
And Alan was similarly vague about their current relationship status.
He said: "Again, we’re taking it one day at a time here."
Earlier this year, Alexis revealed the things she’s specifically seeking in a partner.
The brunette beauty revealed she loves meeting people who have a similar sense of humour and can "exchange an inside joke".
Alexis shared on her Instagram account: "I love when you become so close with someone that you can see parts of each other in one another and you begin to say the same things and steal lines from one another and have a similar sense of humor and can exchange an inside joke with just a glance you don’t even have to talk because you have such a strong connection with them and you can sit in comfortable silence but also talk for hours it’s really hard to find that kind of compatibility (sic)"
