Alex Pall has broken his silence after his girlfriend publicly accused him of cheating on her.
The Chainsmokers star says that Tori Woodward "deserves" to be with someone "better" than him after she alleged that the 32-year-old producer had been unfaithful on several occasions and shared CCTV footage of the ‘Closer’ hitmaker seemingly locking lips with a woman on Instagram.
Addressing Tori’s claims of unfaithfulness, Alex admitted that he has been "miserable" since their split and regrets his actions.
He told TMZ: "She deserves the best … I wish nothing but the best for her. She deserves a better guy than me. I’ve been miserable."
Asked what he’s learned from his mistakes, he admitted: "Be a better person and take care of those who love you."
Tori had been with Alex for four years, and went on a foul-mouthed rant last week, in which she claimed the musician had admitted to cheating.
She also said "fame" has gone to Alex’s head since his meteoric rise to fame in the EDM duo – completed by Andrew Taggart – who shot to fame after their 2014 hit song ‘#SELFIE’.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Tori had fumed: "After hours of begging him for scraps of honesty I chipped away just enough to confirm that this is not the first time he’s remorsely cheated on me. That ‘psycho b*tch’ from Vegas, the ‘lame Instagram model’ caught on video and countless others he looked me in the eyes and swore on his life he never touched. Consistent outright denial faded to him explaining that because all men do it it’s not that bad and, in different words, that because he’s famous now, he has a different rulebook for decency. What’s perhaps the most amazing is that he HASN’T EVEN APOLOGIZED.(sic)"
