Alex Miller frustrated at Love Island bosses for cutting a scene

Alex Miller feels frustrated that ‘Love Island’ bosses decided to cut a particularly emotional scene from the final edit.
The 28-year-old former contestant was dumped from the island when Wes Nelson chose to couple-up with 24-year-old Essex beauty Megan Barton-Hanson in order to save her from being sent home.
Subsequent scenes showed Megan being less than sympathetic about Alex’s departure, but the structural glazier has, in fact, insisted she was left "in tears".
Speaking to Digital Spy, he revealed: "Where I left, I’ve sort of watched it back and they showed Megan being a little bit cold, Wes being a bit cold. What they didn’t show was after that … Wes was in tears, Megan was in tears. And we were all sort of together.
"It was a very tough decision for Wes to make. Afterwards I went up to him and I said, ‘Don’t worry, don’t let it get to you. I would have made the same decision. Just crack on with it.’ He was a little bit in tears, and Megan was upset as well. I would have liked to have seen that go in."
However, a spokesperson for ITV responded: "As we have said before, it is not possible to show everything that happens in the villa due to time constraints.
"It is always our intention to produce a show that is a fair and accurate representation of life in the villa."
And Alex – who has seemingly moved on from his brief fling in the villa after going public with Instagram model Natash Sandhu – has insisted he has no hard feelings towards the ‘Love Island’ pair.
He said: "I’ve got no animosity … If they’ve found the perfect person for each other, crack on. I hope they do really well."
