Alesha Dixon "couldn’t be happier".
The 36-year-old star – who has a baby daughter, Azura Sienna, with partner Azuka Ononye – is currently combining her work as a judge on reality TV show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ with recording new music, and says she’s really happy with where her career currently stands.
She explained: "I’m in such a good place. I’m on the biggest show in the country, I’m recording music, I’ve got a beautiful daughter and an amazing partner. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had my fair share of hard times in the past and I’ve been through a lot, so I think I deserve a little bit of happiness now. I just hope all this continues and everything keeps going the way it’s going."
Alesha explained that although music remains her major interest, she’s keen to take her career in other directions, too.
She told The Sun newspaper: "Music’s obviously my passion, so I’d like to do something to do with that, maybe another talent show or something sparkly.
"But I have done documentaries and I am open to anything that sounds appealing. I’d love to do a chat show. Call me greedy, but I’d also like to do acting, maybe a sitcom or an action movie."
