Alan Thicke’s widow Tanya wants her part of inheritance

Alan Thicke’s widow Tanya has claimed that she has been treated unfairly by his sons.
The ‘Growing Pains’ star passed away in December 2016 after suffering a heart attack and Tanya is alleging that Alan’s sons Robin and Brennan, who are co-trustees of their father’s estate, are spending Alan’s money and not giving her her portion of inheritance.
Documents submitted by Tanya claim that Robin and Brennan are not telling her how they are going about managing his trust. Tanya also alleges that she has not been reimbursed by the trust for erecting a monument for Alan but Robin was handed $105,000 by the estate to cover the costs of a memorial party.
Adam Streisand, Tanya’s lawyer, told TMZ: "The fact that Tanya still hasn’t received her inheritance is unconscionable."
Tanya had previously admitted that she "didn’t want to live" after her husband’s death.
She said: "I’m ashamed to admit it, but at one point I didn’t want to live – I really didn’t. If I didn’t have my family and my friends to listen to me and to hold my hand and to give me the love, the nurturing that I needed, I wouldn’t be standing here in front of you right now … When I saw her standing there, my heart sank and I remember dropping my water bottle and my heart sank to my stomach. The doctors, they were explaining what happened to him and I’m listening and he said, ‘I’m sorry to tell you Mrs. Thicke, but your husband has expired.’ And I was like, ‘What?!’"
Tanya was married to Alan from 2005 until his tragic passing.
