Alan Halsall gives daughter homemade McDonald’s during lo’ckdown’

Alan Halsall created a homemade McDonald’s Happy Meal for his daughter.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor’s six-year-old daughter Sienna asked him for some food from the fast food eatery, but he had to come up with a backup plan while the restaurants are closed across the UK with people ordered to stay at home amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
He shared a snap on Twitter showing a cardboard box with "McDaddy" on the side, filled with chicken nuggets, chips in a paper bag with the letter "M" written on, a small pot of tomato ketchup, a Robinson’s Fruit Shoot drink and a small toy.
He wrote: "When Sienna wants a McD but we’re in lockdown! #McDaddy"
Alan’s followers and co-stars loved his adorable gesture, with many of them flocking to social media to heap praise on his creativity.
Sally Carman (Abi Franklin) tweeted: "You are TOO MUCH"
Alexandra Mardell (Emma Brooker) added: "This is so cute!!!!"
The 37-year-old soap star – who has played Tyrone Dobbs on the cobbles since 1998 – has daughter Sienna with his ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, and he’s now in a relationship with former cast mate Tisha Merry, who played Steph Britton.
He also revealed he is relying on lots of "old school" plans to keep his daughter amused while they’re stuck inside.
He wrote: "I think We all have to make the most of this situation, its a chance to spend a lot of quality time together & make memories that will last a lifetime!
"We’ve been Building dens, painting, growing veg,I made a "Skip it" … lots of old school fun things (sic)"
