Alan Halsall and Lucy-Jo Hudson are back together

Alan Halsall and Lucy-Jo Hudson are back together.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor and his beautiful wife set tongues wagging earlier this week they were spotted locking lips at football match and now the couple – who split two months ago – have now confirmed their romance is very much back on again.
Taking to his Twitter account this morning (04.05.16), Alan, 33, wished the former ‘Wild at Heart’ star a happy birthday before announcing he is whisking her away to France.
He tweeted: "Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife @LucyJo_Hudson who is 33 today love you so much darling, and cannot wait for Paris (sic)"
Lucy, 33, replied almost instantly by posting 10 beaming heart-eyed emojis alongside the hashtag "lucky girl".
The pair’s reunion no doubt came as a shock to fans as just a few weeks ago Lucy admitted she was still struggling to come to terms with her split from the actor and had thrown herself into exercise to take her mind off her pain.
She said: "I’m up and down. It’s difficult but like I said, we’re amicable and we’re talking daily. We will remain friends and I genuinely mean that. We still care for each other. We’re still best mates – we’ll never ever fall out."
The pair – who have been together over a decade – announced their split in March but claimed they were keen to remain amicable for the sake of their two-year-old daughter Sienna.
The duo first struck up a relationship in 2006 after meeting on the set of ‘Coronation Street’ in 2005 when Alan was playing lovable mechanic Tyrone Dobbs – a role he still portrays on the show – while Lucy starred as Katy Harris.
The brunette beauty quit the soap in late 2005 but the couple continued to date and went on to marry in 2009.
