Alan Halsall admitted co-parenting daughter Sienna with his ex, Lucy-Jo Hudson, is tough.
The 37-year-old actor and Lucy-Jo, 37, split in 2018, after almost nine years of marriage, and Alan admitted juggling a "blended family" can be tricky as they have both moved on with new partners.
Alan – who is currently dating Tisha Merry, told OK! magazine: "There’s always going to be ups and downs with a blended family.’
"So long as Sienna comes first in all of it, that’s all that matters. Sienna’s got her mum and dad, and she’s also got Lewis and Tisha. It’s just a case that everybody loves her.’
"Of course there will be differences of opinion; so long as we’re in that loving way when Sienna is around. We don’t have a great deal of communication, it’s only ever about Sienna and that’s all it ever needs to be."
Lucy-Jo started dating Lewis Devine soon after her split from Alan and the couple welcomed son Carter in February.
And when Lewis called Sienna his daughter in a gushing Instagram post about Carter, Alan hit back in a furious message.
Lewis wrote: "Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!"
According to The Sun, in a since deleted message, Alan replied: "You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter."
