Ainsley Harriet has been confirmed for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Ready Steady Cook’ presenter is the latest contestant to join the BBC’s celebrity dancing contest and while he admitted he loves dance, performing for the "whole nation" is on another level.
He said: "I must admit that I do love to dance, but doing it in front of the nation is a whole different matter.
"When it comes to dancing it is about the discipline and how much effort you put in.
"If you put the time in then you can be a bit more expressive."
The 58-year-old TV chef joked of how the only "Salsa" he knew in "his day" was the one you cook with.
However, he is excited and is eager for "rising to the challenge".
He told BBC’s ‘The One Show: "In my day job the only type of Salsa I know about is the one in my recipes so I am looking forward to rising More contestants will be announced for the 13th series, which will be aired on BBC1 in September over the next few weeks.
Ainsley joins recently confirmed Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine who was added to the lineup on Monday (10.08.15).
The series will still be presented by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
