Aidan Turner hallucinated during Poldark scene

Aidan Turner was left "hallucinating" when he tried to film a ‘Poldark’ scene in a hurry.
The 33-year-old actor – who portrays Ross Poldark in the period drama – was seen having a bath while his on-screen wife Demelza Polfark (Eleanor Tomlinson) tended to him, but the romantic moment wasn’t as easy to shoot as it seemed.
Aidan recalled: "Oh God, you know what? We had to wrap at 7pm that night and the bath was filled at 6.45pm, so we had 15 minutes to get the scene done.
"The water was so hot. I jumped in and couldn’t breathe. I was hallucinating and going crazy.
"They had to pour loads of cold water in and I just about got through it."
Despite ‘Poldark’s huge popularity, Aidan had barely seen an episode until recently.
He admitted: "I’d never watched anything I’ve been in but I thought it was about time I got over that.
"And you know what? It’s not so bad. I must watch the first series now to see what the fuss is all about.
"It was becoming a thing. Like with ‘And Then There Were None’, I only watched the first episode. I adored it, but for some reason I couldn’t watch the rest."
And Aidan admits his decision not to watch was a bad one as he feels there is a lot to learn from seeing his performances on screen.
He told heat magazine: "I was beginning to get into the bad habit of not watching my stuff and I think an actor should watch what they do because you learn from it."
