Adele to tour Australia next year

Adele is set to tour Australia for the first time ever next year.
The ‘Hello’ hitmaker is planning to set 2017 off with a bang as she’s announced plans to head Down Under at the end of February for a number of 360-degree in-the-round stadium concerts in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Taking to her Twitter account on Monday (14.11.16), Adele – who also released her new single ‘Water Under the Bridge’ to coincide with the announcement – uploaded a handwritten note, which read: "G’Day it’s me … I was wondering if after 10 years in the game you’d finally like to meet me in: Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide. Yep! I am coming Down Under. In the Round, out doors and upgrading myself to stadiums to make sure I get to see as many of you as possible."
Tickets for the forthcoming leg will go on sale on November 21 but fans will need to move quickly in order to get their hands on them as they’re expected to be in high demand considering it will be the first – and possibly the last – time she performs there.
And those people on a budget may be forced to miss out this time around as the cheapest ticket to be found is at her Melbourne gig, where a D Reserve seat will set them back $101.74 (AUD), while some will be expected to pay up to $310 (AUD).
The 28-year-old singer will kick off the Australian leg of her tour at the Domain Stadium in Perth on February 28 before moving on to Brisbane’s Cricket Ground on March 4.
She’ll then travel down to Sydney’s Olympic Park for a gig at the famous ANZ Stadium on March 10, jet across to Adelaide for a concert at the city’s Oval on March 13, before finishing up the Down Under set at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on March 18.
Adele’s announcement no doubt came as a surprise to fans as it was believed she was taking a 10-year hiatus from touring in order to be with her four-year-old son Angelo.
A source said recently: "Angelo is the number one priority for Adele. He is the most important thing in her life. Adele doesn’t want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up and it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him."
Adele kicked off her 2016 tour in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in February in support of her third album ’25’ and went on to play a number of gigs across Europe before finishing up this year in the US with a total of 107 sold-out shows.
