Adele in awe of Lauryn Hill

Adele went to see Lauryn Hill perform her "favourite record of all time" at her ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday night (18.09.18).
Lauryn, 43, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her seminal album – which was released in August 1998 – by singing it in full on tour and Adele was one of those in attendance at the 17,500 capacity venue.
The 30-year-old British star first saw the former Fugees member perform in 1999 in London when she was just 10 years old and she admitted it was an honour and a privilege to watch Lauryn once again perform the tracks that have shaped her life.
In an Instagram post made after the concert, she wrote: "I saw Lauryn Hill in 1999 at Brixton Academy when I was 10 years old. Tonight I saw her play at the Hollywood Bowl. I’ve just turned 30! What a woman what a record, by far Miseducation is my favorite record of all time. Such an honest representation of love and life, I feel I can relate too but also I know theres elements and levels i never will be able to. Ms Lauryn Hill was on form in every way possible. Thank you for the record of a life time, thank you for your wisdom! Thank you for existing. Happy 20th x (sic)"
‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ is the American singer-and-rapper’s only solo studio LP and she performs it in full at all of her tour dates.
Lauryn – who featured on both of the Fugees’ albums – had been joined on the road by guests De La Soul, rapper Nas and singer Santigold, however, the latter two acts were dropped from the tour last week.
Sabtigold revealed she had been axed from a minimum of four dates in a Twitter post which read: "I will no longer be performing on The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill Tour at the following dates due to the tour organizers’ decision to reduce the support. So sorry to disappoint my fans."
Organisers have claimed "production issues" are to blame for Santigold being dropped.
