Adam Thomas has placed third on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star has been booted off the ITV show, leaving Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett to battle it out to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec after his exit, he said: "I’m just happy I got this far. I didn’t expect to get to the final so this is just unbelievable … What an experience. I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. It was just laughter after laughter. The two left in there [Scarlett and Joel] deserve it so much.
"It’s been a lot tougher than expected; I never thought it would be that tough. You have your up days and your down days. At the beginning, I found it really tough but as the days went on, it became easier. I can’t believe I got to the final three. It’s unbelievable. I was in there from the start and I’m in there ’til the end."
Whilst he was in the jungle, Adam took part in no less than 11 Bushtucker trials where he managed to earn a whopping 49 stars.
Asked which trial was the worst, he shared: "I didn’t expect to do two or one. Each one got worse and worse but I just faced every fear possible. The last one I did was horrible; it was the fact the spiders were right there. I was just waiting for them to come in at the last minute but I did it and I got all the stars."
Adam got on really well with all his campmates and gushed about his bromance with Joel but he is rooting for Scarlett to win.
He added: "I think everyone got on. I came in here wanting a bromance and I got one with every one of the boys in there – to Wayne, to Jordan, to Joel. To go in with Joel and to be with him in the final, I wish him all the luck …
"Scarlett watched it from such a long age and for her to win it and become Queen of the Jungle, she deserves it."
