Adam Thomas has been experiencing sleepless nights about starting his new job.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actor is embarking on a new venture and is also opening a new bar in Stockport, but he has been "constantly dealing with self-doubt" ahead of the projects.
He wrote on Instagram: "Today I start a new job !! A job that I’ve had sleepless nights about, because it’s something I’ve never done before. A job where personally I don’t think I’ll be any good at haha but you know what am gonna give it everything ive got! Nervous is an understatement!! Constantly dealing with self doubt but am tired of the voice in my head holding me back! I want to be the man and father my kids look up too… (sic)"
But Adam insists whatever happens with the bar, The Spin, or his new job, he will be "happy [he] gave it a go".
He added: "I want to try new things I want to take risks!! If it doesn’t work out at least I took the jump ! This year has been tough but I’ve learnt a lot and am ready to learn so much more !! What ever happens with this job or with my bar @thespinn_ am just happy I gave it a go … on that note if my bar isn’t a success and I’m s**t at my job please send help haha here’s a picture of my kids because they get me more likes and are the reason I smile x (sic)"
Last September, Adam revealed he was working as a sales executive for his friend Adam Kamani – who runs a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Manchester, as well as owning fashion labels BooHoo and Pretty Little Thing – by showing off his black and gold business card.
It read: "Adam is one of our property executives, he sources new potential acquisitions and assists with the management of both the residential and commercial sides of our portfolio.
"He regularly meets with contractors, potential tenants and suppliers, as well as appearing in the occasional promotional video!"
