AC/DC set for world tour photo book

AC/DC are to release a new book documenting their recent ‘Rock or Bust’ world tour.
The ‘Highway to Hell’ hitmakers wrapped their 17-month trek around the world earlier this year, and have announced they will release an official photo book detailing the ins and outs of their extensive journey.
‘The Rock or Bust Tour Book 2015’ will feature photos from Ralph Larmann, who accompanied the group throughout the jaunt, right from the first date at Coachella music festival in April 2015 – along with facts, figures, and memorabilia from the band.
A post on ‘Thunderstruck’ rockers’ website reads: "The Rock or Bust Tour Book 2015 will cover the full extent of AC/DC’s groundbreaking 2015 world tour supporting the multi-million selling Rock or Bust album released in 2014.
"Starting in Coachella the Rock or Bust tour has played to millions of fans around the world, setting records for attendance and sell out times.
"Renowned music photographer Ralph Larmann has captured AC/DC throughout this incredible tour, creating an amazing photographic documentary of the band and fans in action.
"Rufus Stone is assembling these pictures plus some amazing facts, figures and tour memorabilia to celebrate one of the most successful rock tours of the last decade."
The band – who notably featured Guns n Roses frontman Axl Rose in their tour line-up in place of Brian Johnson after he was ordered by doctors to stop touring or face permanent hearing loss – have also announced a special collector’s edition of the book, complete with "light up AC/DC slipcase".
The website continues: "Several different editions of the book will be published including a unique ‘Leather and Metal’ collectors’ version with ‘light up’ AC/DC slipcase. All editions will be unique, casebound coffee table books, perfect for fans and collectors."
The website lists the starring roles in the book to be Axl Rose, Cliff Williams – who retired once the tour had ended – Chris Slade, and Stevie Young, as well as listing frontman Brian Johnson.
Pre-sale for ‘The Rock or Bust Tour Book 2015’ is set to start in spring 2017, before the book hits shelves in the summer.
