Abbie Cornish is a "hopeless romantic".
The 31-year-old actress admits she moved from Australia to Los Angeles seven years ago after following her heart because falling in love is her biggest weakness.
Speaking about leaving her native country for the US, she told Porter magazine: "I never came [to LA] for work, I came for love. I’m a hopeless romantic. That’s probably my weakest point."
At the time of her move, the blonde beauty was dating Ryan Phillippe after they met on the set of ‘Stop-Loss’ in 2006, the same year the US hunk divorced Reese Witherspoon, with whom he has two children.
However, the couple split up three years later in February 2010 and Abbie moved out of their shared home in California shortly afterwards.
Ryan then went on to date model Alexis Knapp, whom he has two-year-old daughter Kailani with, in the summer of 2010, before they broke up a few months later.
Meanwhile, Abbie, who hasn’t had a high-profile relationship since, insists she’s currently single but recently admitted she’s "totally open to having a relationship".
