Charlotte Crosby slams ‘pathetic’ claims she’s put on weight

Charlotte Crosby thinks it’s "pathetic" people are suggesting she’s gained weight.

The 24-year-old star recently dropped from a size 16 to a 6-8 after embarking on a healthy eating and fitness regime and releasing her own workout DVD but she’s now slammed people for claiming she’s put some of the weight back on.

She said: "I haven’t put on weight. I was a bit puffy after a 24-hour flight [to Australia], plus I was due on my period! It’s very bad for people to say that I’ve changed when I haven’t.

"Those are the kind of stories that could lead to someone getting an eating disorder. It’s very sad someone would even suggest I’m fat. It’s pathetic."

The ‘Geordie Shore’ star insists she wouldn’t be showing off her bikini body on her Instagram and Twitter accounts while on tour in Australia if she were concerned about her weight and claimed photos can make people look heavier than they really are.

She shared: "If I was worried, I wouldn’t be sitting around the pool in my bikini, like I am right now. People haven’t seen me in real life. That’s not how I look."

However, Charlotte claims she has no plans to spend her entire life in the gym but can understand why some people feel the pressure to.

The brunette beauty added to Star magazine: "I’m not the kind of person who’d go down the silly route of becoming too obsessed, but I can see why famous people get insecure, because people judge you all the time."
