Katie Hopkins’ husband thinks she can win ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The outspoken 39-year-old TV personality has polarised viewers due to her strong views and frequent spats, but her beau, Mark Cross, believes the public have warmed to her since she entered the reality show.
He said: "I think she can win, but it’ll come down to what the British public think."
The graphic designer – who lives with the couple’s five-year-old son Max as well as Katie’s children from a previous relationship, India, 10, and nine-year-old Poppy – admitted he wouldn’t mind if she was evicted because he is eager for her to return home.
He confessed: "It’s a double-edged sword because I’d like her to win – it’d make this even more worthwhile – but then I want her to come home. I think she’d be heartened to win."
The 50-year-old family man added he is looking forward to spending some quality time in Cornwall with the former ‘The Apprentice’ candidate when she finally leaves the programme.
He explained to OK! magazine: "We haven’t been able to relax together for about a year. So it’ll be nice to just chill out with her. We like to go and hide away with the kids in St Ives."
