Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to hire ‘full time nanny’

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hiring a second nanny.

The royal couple – who already employ Antonella Fresolone, 42, to care for their 18-month-old son Prince George full time – are reportedly looking for a live-in maternity nurse to help raise their second baby in the weeks after the birth.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 33 – who is due in April – is said to have been left "exhausted’ following George’s birth in 2013 and has enquired at London-based Norland Agency and Royal Nannies about the possibility of employing more help, reports the Mail on Sunday newspaper.

A source said of Prince William and his wife, née Kate Middleton: "Kate and William loved the early weeks with Prince George but it was hard work and the sleepless nights took their toll.

"Kate especially was exhausted."

The brunette beauty – who suffered from acute morning sickness at the start of her pregnancy – has also been well looked after by Antonella, who has become an "invaluable" part of the family.

A royal insider said: "Antonella has already been proving invaluable to the Duke and Duchess.

"She is very capable and a great cook. It’s like having their very own domestic goddess.

"She made sure the Duchess was well fed during her pregnancy, cooking up steaming bowls of pasta and delicious risotto dishes.

"They couldn’t do without her."
