Nadia Sawalha evicted from ‘Celebrity Big Brother’


Nadia Sawalha has been evicted from ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.

The ‘Loose Women’ panelist was relieved to become the fourth housemate to be eliminated from the show tonight (30.01.15) after going head-to-head against Katie Hopkins, Keith Chegwin and Perez Hilton in the public vote.

The 50-year-old star, who was a long-term fan of the show, was heavily booed by the crowd and admitted to host Emma Willis that she had made "a terrible mistake" by taking part in the Channel 5 series.

She said: "I should never have crossed over. I made a terrible mistake, it was a disaster.

"I’m so glad I’m out. It was hell."

Following her elimination, Perez, who was close friends with her inside and was desperate for Hopkins to be evicted, was seen wiping away tears, and Nadia defended the celebrity blogger, who has regularly come under fire for his attitude on the show.

She said: "I couldn’t turn my back on him. I think people lost the courage to be his friend.

"You see it’s association, they knew the audience hate him. Even if I didn’t like him I would have aligned myself to him so that he wasn’t isolate him because I hate people being bullied."

But the TV presenter branded Hopkins a "silly cow" and believes she is on a "campaign" to be liked.

She said: "I thought she was a silly cow."
